The Project
Fused ACCIONA's global scale with Jones Bros' local delivery strength to evidence credible delivery of a £215m major highway infrastructure scheme.
Summary
The result was a clear, evidence-led submission that demonstrated how the joint venture would deliver the scheme with both technical strength and local insight.
The Shrewsbury North West Relief Road is a major infrastructure project designed to improve connectivity and support long term economic growth in the region.
For ACCIONA and its delivery partner, Jones Bros, the challenge was not capability. Between them, they brought both international expertise and strong regional delivery experience.
The issue was how that capability was evidenced.
The initial position lacked the clarity and supporting detail needed to demonstrate, with confidence, how the joint venture would deliver the scheme.
In a competitive procurement, this created a clear risk. Without strong, relevant evidence, the submission could struggle to fully convey both technical credibility and delivery assurance.
Vision TDM reshaped the submission to clearly demonstrate how the joint venture’s capability translated directly to the project.
ACCIONA’s global portfolio was positioned to demonstrate technical capability and experience of delivering complex infrastructure projects at scale. At the same time, Jones Bros’ regional knowledge and delivery track record were used to provide local credibility, particularly in relation to ground conditions, logistics and stakeholder engagement.
This created a more balanced and compelling picture of the partnership, combining international expertise with local delivery confidence.
We also ensured that evidence was embedded consistently throughout the submission. Technical responses were strengthened with relevant project examples, clearly linked to the requirements of the scheme, giving evaluators greater confidence in both capability and relevance.
The result was a clear, evidence-led submission that demonstrated how the joint venture would deliver the scheme with both technical strength and local insight.
